Who is BearTheYoke?

Formerly “BOC Wasabi”, my actual name is Clayton and I stream on primarily twitch. I specialize in crackin’ kuckles, beers, and jokes. A goofy fun light hearted time, but I also like to argue.

The name “bear the yoke” is a reference to Lamentations 3:27 and Matthew 11:28-30, but with some clever visual representations. However, the content doesn’t generally involve religion unless outlined in the stream title.

I was very religious as a youngster and as I’ve grown, lost, and gained in life it has been impressed upon me to fully embrace Christianity and the teachings therein.

The Content

Gaming

I have a collection of original Xbox and PC games that I play every once in a while. Otherwise, quirky indy games, open sandbox or RPGs are my jiggity jam.

Politics

OOOOO polarizing! Being a lifelong conspiracy theorist, probably does a bit more informing on my position than it ought to.

Internet Drama

I stay pretty up to date on a lot of internet drama, and some of that occurs on stream. It’s like politics but without the consequences.

Music Production

I’ve made music since I was 13. I took a few classes in music production and have been a part of a few in my day. I’ll make beats or maybe have a little concert of some of my favorite songs to play.

Religious studying

I haven’t super figured this aspect out, but I intend to do some reading and googling around the bible. A real open ended discovery scenario rather than a sermon vibe.

Just Hangin Out

Generally if we’re planning on getting into politics or religion, I’ll throw that in the stream title. Most of the time we’re just trying to have fun, make some giggles, and fart around.

I am not trying to be the next big streamer, I’m not trying to evangelize or change anyone’s mind, I’m just sharing mine. I do enjoy a good rousing debate as long as we’re both operating in good faith and understanding that our competing ideas do not inform our qualities of being a friend, or a peer, or a person.
